i tried on the dog’s digs today. its a bit cramped. and it smells like dog. and there is now white hair all over me. i dont think its for me.

On my way home from work today, I stopped by Schenley Park and walked around a bit. I spied this church below the park, and thought the lighting and one of Pittsburgh’s many "stairway streets" looked interesting.

So this is pretty rad. This happened due to a glitch in my SD card. i planned on a totally different idea for my 365, but when i went to transfer the photos my camera combined my photo with 2 old photos that had already been deleted. The bottom 2 images are completly untouched, the top portion i added an artifical light leak to give it the same feel. Let me know what you think!

Wow, a whole year complete. Well sort of complete. I’ve been determined from the beginning to only cover 365 days with this project. It means I’ve missed some days – hey life gets in the way. But, I did what I set out to do;
a) document one year in the life of me in photos
b) pick up the camera more often and learn how to use it
I 100% achieved both of those targets. I’ve come along leaps and bounds in terms of my photography and I’m slowly finding my own style in this art.
In the last 365 days I’ve:
-lost and gained a heap of weight
-got partially naked, half naked and TOTALLY NAKED and posted the photos on flickr! Which was a major achievement for me.
-lost my great grandad
-got promoted
-got a big payrise
-got front page explore!
-celebrated Red Nose Day
-got married
-went to Egypt
-turned 24
-did crazy stuff with my bestest buddy more times than I can remember
-set up my own photography business
-FINISHED THIS BLOODY PROJECT!
So, now I’m checking out. I’ve had a love hate relationship with Flickr and now I’m taking a few steps back, to take photos of something other than me. I’ve had a good start with Pencil Full of Lead and now I’m going to concentrate on really making it work!!
Thanks to everyone who’s visted my stream at some point over the last year and commented – I’ve appreciated every opinion.

FGR is saluting Oz, the land down unda…. Australia. My girlfriend has a Didgeridoo from her visit there, so here i am, trying in vain to play it.

I can has break now? I finished 365 days, but never did this ‘run from cam’ thing. So there.
I’m half-thinking of just not stopping; it’s sure going to be weird not having to take a pic each day. On the other hand, it’s been fun, yet hard as well.
Let’s just see how long I can do without…

I’ve finally decided to join a 365 group. A self-portrait seems like a good way to begin. I need support from all my friends and contacts. I have a shortcoming of never finishing things I begin. Help me accomplish this. All comments and suggestions to improve will be appreciated

wow.
i’m nearly at a loss for words y’all. i did it. 365 days of me, by me. It’s really been such an honor and a privilege to share my project with you all, while at the same time seeing all of your incredible work go by my eyes. i have no idea why i started this project. there was no photo i saw, or group i stumbled upon. i just picked up my cameraphone one day, and started. i never thought i’d make it thru the first month, and there were many many times i had to haul myself up to take my picture even tho i really didnt want to take one at all.
i learned a lot about myself along the way, i learned SO SO much about photoshop and photography that will be so valuable to me in the future, but best of all, i made some amazing friends along the way…. this is where i do my shoutouts.
Terri (hollandrayne) you rock my socks. you commented on prolly over 200 of my shots i think, and i feel like we’ve been friends for years from how much i know about you, florida, and your zoo. we miss you on flickr too… ::new project! new project!:: 
Sarah (that edit girl) introduced by terri due to our love of DMB, you rock just as hard! i’m looking forward to seeing what you do with the rest of your project, and im sure at some point we’re gonna run into each other at a DMB show. thanks for your constant inspiration

Ari (shesacoustic) one of my favorite photographers on flickr. ari, your stuff is absolutly gorgeous, and it makes me jealous on a regular basis. i was so excited when you started commenting on my stuff cause i admired yours so much.

Carley Vous another one of my early 365 pals who’s also recently finished. get a look at her stream, its really amazing. she taken great strides in photography this year, and really posts incredible stuff.
Jonathan (themanilow) another DMB pal who constantly makes me laugh. he’s doing year two right now!!! get in on that action! now!!
jezikalyn another flickrer who’s work i admire greatly, and was super excited that she started commenting on my stream. you do phenomenal work, i look forward to your stuff in my stream.
Sharon (iammacgirl) a longtime flickr friend, who takes really gorgeous images of canada and all things canadian. she’s really got an eye for detail. you rock sharon! thanks for all the support during my project!
